Rainy days are planning and repotting days here.

We went for a walk under the umbrella with the dogs at 8am, checking where we are at and what we want to achieve next.

There was a fair bit of eyerolling and sighs beside me, but that's usual for my aim for the impossible ponderings.

If you aim for the impossible extraordinary things will happen.

After a fair bit of squelching over the back of the farm we had a look at our lively little stream (dogs had a splash and a play).

Then we came back up through the new orchard, discussing our moves with the land for ourselves we safely put the dogs home, came to work and started our day.

As the weather is so dismal, between the hailstorms, we are aiming for as little outside time as possible.

So Nick is potting up small plants, Karyn is painting signs and I am propagating seeds.

Soon we will all be potting.

One of the things about working in nature is you can't fight or change it, just adapt and plan wet day tasks.

I hope we can all stay as warm and dry as possible in the bleak days.

Todays Haiku :

Rain has filled the tank

Rain has filled my gumboots too

Grateful its not sleet
